So as I was driving to School one day and a gentlemen yelled to get my attention. He told me that the symbol on the back of my window was the Satanic symbol (I have a big Monster Energy M on my window, and no Monster doesn't pay me to advertise. I wish though haha). I didn't pay much attention to him I just smiled and waved and kept driving. The curiosity sparked my attention and being hooked on Monster I had to know.
The Claim is that that the Monster energy M symbol is 666. The evidence being used is that the M symbol is really 3 characters in the Hebrew alphabet. They are 3 of the 6th letter in the Hebrew alphabet, which put together 3 times equaling 666. Other evidence is that the slogan is "Unleash the Beast," and the drink is called Monster. So what it comes down to is the the Monster symbol is the Mark of the Beast, talked about in the book of Revelations in the Bible.
I don't know how I feel about this honestly. I know that the stuff is bad for you, it goes for all energy drinks, they are packed with loads of sugar, caffeine and tons of other garbage.
However, It seems to be all fan evidence, no real claims or professional websites, just opinions. I think the symbol is creative and cool and that it is just a coincidence about the Hebrew letters, but It could mean something because there are subliminal messages everywhere today. When I see some actual evidence that support the rumors I'll believe it, but until then I think It is a wonderful and delightful pick me up beverage.

Although they are just "opinions" I feel that these claims are something to think about. Not only is the drink causing harm to your body but where are the proceeds going to? Satanic organizations? Possibly?
First of all, I'm so glad you are updating your blog again.
Second of all, I seem to remember something from ages ago about Proctor and Gamble supporting satanism, and the supporting evidence was the ram's head logo. Anyway, all the rumors just fizzled out.
Oh, and did you ever hear after 9/11 how you could type in the flight numbers of the hijacked planes in wing dings, and the symbols were something like two buildings, an airplane, and a skull and crossbones?
It's crazy stuff. I don't what it means, if anything, but still crazy.
I recall the Proctor and Gamble hype too. They were on Oprah once and admitted that they supported Satan worshiping organizations. Oprah asked if they were worried about consequences in sales for announcing this on public tv. Their response was "there aren't enough Christians in the world to make a difference". Its true too, they own so many product it would be impossible to give them all up as protest. And like you said, it all fizzled out in the end anyways...
So I just googled "proctor and gamble satan," and it turns out that the rumor that Proctor and Gamble donates some of its profits to the church of satan has been going around since the 80s. The name of the talk show the P&G president appeared on has changed through the years, but it's the same story. Supposedly, Amway was responsible for starting up the rumor last time, so P&G sued them a few years ago.
I guess there was a similar rumor about Liz Claiborne too. Someone said she told Oprah she donated 40% of her profits to the church of satan. But that never happened either.
Kinda funny. I'm trying to imagine the person who thought starting these rumors would be a good business move.
Megan I tried that wingding thing too and it worked. Kinda creepy. There is also a jewish stat too and I have no idea what that means or has to do with anything. I should email Jessie Ventura, he's all in to conspiracy theories.
You totally should.
